Printing machinery, for printing of print symbols on tobacco paper strip in a cigarette production plant, has at least one print roller and at least one counter pressure roller mounted together on a fastening device (86). The latter can be mounted on the machine together with its pre-mounted print rollers (45) and counter pressure roller (47). An independent claim is made for a method for printing of markings on cigarette paper.
