The present invention relates to a secondary battery where an electrode assembly which comprises an anode, a cathode, a separator is sealed in a battery case. Provided is a secondary battery. The battery case includes a rectangular case body which has an open upper end and consists of a metallic material, and a case cap which is combined with the open upper end of the case body and includes an electrode terminal. The case cap has (i) at least one electrolyte injection hole; and (ii) the sub injection hole of the electrolyte injection hole or at least one sub through hole which functions as a discharge hole for discharging air in the case when electrolyte is injected through the electrolyte injection hole. |
