The present invention provides a pressing method which prevents salted food from rising from a liquid containing the salted food by finding a reference starting point of pressure and pressing the salted food. The reference starting point of pressure comes from a relative pressure generated when a lid closes a salting container. The present invention relates to the salted-food pressing device having a pressure bar to adjust screws. The pressure bar easily adjusts the length of the container from the maximum to the minimum using multiple cylindrical screws of which concave grooves and convex protrusions are engaged each other. The salted-food pressing device of the present invention stably immerses the salted food and can be used in an easy manner.
