<p>The present invention relates to a system capable of providing multiple services using idle resource in a network distributed file system and a method thereof. The system capable of providing multiple services using idle resource in a network distributed file system includes a metadata server and a plurality of data servers and is operated by being linked with a service manager. The metadata server receives at least one among CPU usage, memory usage, hard disk usage, and network usage from the data servers and reports the status of each node in the distributed file system to the service manager using an API. The service manager requests at least one among the CPU usage, memory usage, hard disk usage, and network usage of the data servers using the API provided by the metadata server, receives usage data of the current data server from the metadata server, analyzes the status of a corresponding node (service demon), and activates services installed in each node.</p> |
