The invention relates to a device (1) for attaching a first sub-assembly onto a second sub-assembly, said device including: a first member (13) that is connected to the first sub-assembly and a second member (15) that is connected to the second sub-assembly and movable relative to the first member (13) between a position spaced apart from the first member (13) and a locked position; a locking member (19) that is movable relative to the second member (15) between a standby position and an operative position wherein the second member (15), relative to the first member (13), locks a resilient member (21) biasing the locking member (19) from the standby position thereof to the operative position thereof; and a releasable holding device (23) that is provided so as to have a holding state and a releasing state for the locking member (19) that is provided so as to pass from the holding state thereof to the releasing state thereof when the second member (15) moves. The holding device (23) includes: a toggle comprising a holding area and a bearing area; a connection for pivoting the toggle to the second member (15); a release comprising an abutment area and an actuation area (83); and a connection for pivoting the release to the second member (15). The holding device (23) is provided such that, in the holding state thereof, the locking member (19) bears against the holding area of the toggle as a result of the resilient member (21) and biases the bearing area against the abutment area of the release. The holding device (23) is moreover provided such that the first member (13), during the movement of the second member (15) to the locked position thereof, bears against the actuation area of the release and retracts the abutment area, thus causing the holding device (23) to pass to the releasing state thereof. |
