The present invention provides a polyethylene resin composition for a plastic bottle cap which comprises: (A) an ethylene homopolymer having a melt index 200 g/10 mins or greater when measuring with a load of 2.16 kg at 190°C; and (B) a copolymer of ethylene andα-olefin having 3-20 carbon atoms, wherein density is 0.965 g/cm^3 or greater, and a ratio of the (A) is 50 wt% or more, and an article made therefrom. The article made by the polyethylene resin composition of the present invention has constant opening properties by minimizing changes in opening torque by temperature.
