A mobile terminal and operation control method thereof are provided to use a touch screen more efficiently by adjusting the size of usable keys larger than those of un-usable keys, and to promote the user's convenience. A first display part(110) displays at least one object. A second display part(120) is a touch screen type display for displaying a navigation key for highlight display moving of the object. A control part adjusts the size of the direction keys for constituting the navigation key in accordance with the arrangement method of the object. The first display part is one of LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and touch screen. The first and the second display part are divided into each display area on one touch screen, in case of touch screen. In case of arranging the objects to one direction, the control part adjusts the size of the direction keys corresponding to one direction to be larger than the direction keys not corresponding to one direction. The control part enlarges the size of up/down/right/left direction keys, in case of arranging the objects with grid style. |
