FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and may be used for dental restoration of approximal surfaces of molars and premolars. The dental matrix made of an elastic place is presented in the form of an arch enclosing the tooth to be restored by an elastic force generated by helically-coiled ends of the plate. A method for making the matrix consists in the fact that its shape is established by traction or pulling of the ends of the semi-finished plate through between clamping rolls at an angle to the feed direction of the plate into the rolls. The traction or pulling through direction of one end of the plate is opposite to the traction or pulling direction of the other end so that the ends after traction or pulling through become oppositely helically-coiled, while the central portion of the matrix bends in the elastic arch to enclose the affected tooth and to be held thereon by elastic forces.EFFECT: provided compactness of the matrix structure, reliable fixation of the matrix on the tooth, avoided necessity of the matrix holder, eliminated matrix parts being dangerous for the mucous membrane of the patient's cheek and tongue, operative shaping of the matrix as necessary and cost reduction of the matrix.2 cl, 1 dwg |
