A fan motor of a vacuum cleaner and an assembling method for the same are provided to reduce the noise generated by the interference of the connecting part by removing the connecting part including a fastening screw within an air channel. A fan motor of a vacuum cleaner comprises: an impeller cover(60) in which an inlet port is formed; an impeller(50) installed in the inner side of the impeller cover; a vane assembly escorting the air passing through the impeller; and a motor(20) rotating the impeller. The Vane assembly includes: a diffuser(44) enhancing the pressure of the air passing through the impeller; a disk body in which the impeller is settled; and a return vane(42) formed in the bottom side of the disk body and guiding the air through the diffuser. |
