The present invention relates to a door lock apparatus for a washing machine, which holds or binds a hook attached to a door of a washing machine by comprising: a locker housing (10) where a hinge shaft (11) whose outer circumference has a coil spring (C), and a sliding hole (12) separated from the hinge shaft (11) are formed; a locker (20) which is combined with the hinge shaft (11) in order to receive elasticity to be rotated clockwise by the coil spring (C), and holds a hook (1) by being rotated counterclockwise by the inserting motion of the hook (1); a fixating piece (30) which is installed in the sliding hole (12) in order to slide and rotate, and fixates in order to maintain the rotating state of the locker (20) by being engaged with the locker (20) during the rotating motion of the locker (20); an operating member (40) which fixates the locker (20) by restraining the sliding of the fixating piece (30) or releases the engagement of the locker (20) with the fixating piece (30) so that the locker (20) can be rotated clockwise by the elasticity of the coil spring (C) in order to discharge the inserted hook (1) to the outside; and a controller (50) which selectively controls the operation of the operating member (40). Therefore, the door lock apparatus for a washing machine can perform a door holding motion during the stoppage of a washing machine, can perform a door locking motion during the operation of the washing machine, and can perform a door open motion at the completion of the washing machine. |
