The present invention relates to an articulator having a gap preventing means which can manufacture a highly precise dental prosthesis by having each moving bundle and joint member in an upper and a lower main body of the articulator reproducing a movement of a jaw by mounting a model of an upper and a lower jaw. Furthermore, the present invention can maintain a rotation radius by preventing a gap between the left and the right direction of the upper main body by enabling a globular-shaped joint member to have a linear shift inside the moving bundle having a V-shaped groove while the upper main body is rotated on the lower main body; reduce the volume and weight of the articulator, and prevent a generation of an error according to an operator by having an upper mounting and a lower mounting on which an upper model and a lower model are mounted inside of an upper plate and a lower plate, respectively. The articulator having the gap preventing means according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a lower main body having the lower plate in the front, forming a standing support frame in both sides, containing a lower jaw mounting in order to settle and fix a lower jaw model inside the lower plate; an upper plate rotatably connected in the upper part of the lower main body, having the upper plate in the front by having a vertical needle rod contacted to the lower plate according to a rotating condition in the front side of the upper plate, and a rotating arm rotatably installed in both sides of the support frame in the rear, containing a upper jaw mounting in order to settle and fix an upper jaw model inside the upper plate; the gap preventing means installed in the side of the support frame and the rotating arm, rotating the upper main body on the lower main body without having a gap. |
