FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: downhole separation unit contains a separation chamber with an oil-water mix feed pipeline, water and oil drainage pipelines with inlets installed in the well. The separation chamber is made as an inner cavity of the pressure-tight well. At that the oil-water mix feed pipeline is lowered to the separation chamber to the depth which is determined by distances from its lower end up to the inlets of water and oil drainage pipelines that drain water and oil from the chamber in a continuous mode in volume corresponding to water cut of the oil-water mix considering the rate of oil ascent in water.EFFECT: simplifying design of the separation unit, improving reliability and efficiency of the unit operation.3 cl, 2 dwg |
