PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for printing intended for industrial inkjet printers and excellent in terms of ink absorption speed and ink absorption capacity.SOLUTION: The coated paper for printing intended for industrial inkjet printers is a base paper obtained by coating or impregnating, onto or into at least one surface of a raw paper, a treatment liquid composition including at least a water-soluble calcium salt and possessing, on the base paper, a coating layer including a heavy calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter confined to a range of 0.1 μm or above and 0.28 μm or below and sodium alginate.
