PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for measuring an insulation resistance, enabling a leakage current to be measured at all the measuring points in a measuring range in a short period of time.SOLUTION: An insulation resistance measuring device 10 is provided for measuring a leakage current at each measuring point within the measuring range 12 of a sheet-like insulation material 11, thereby measuring insulation resistance thereof. The insulation resistance measuring device 10 includes: a voltage application electrode 13 arranged on one side face of the sheet-like insulation material 11 and for applying a voltage within the measuring range 12; a measuring electrode 14 which is arranged on the other face side of the sheet-like insulation material 11 and measures the leakage current at each measuring point; and a guard electrode 15 which is arranged on the other face side of the sheet-like insulation material 11, is insulated from a measuring electrode 14 each other and causes the leakage current outside of the measuring range 12 to flow to the ground. The measuring electrode 14 has a plurality of small electrodes 16 insulated from each other and measuring the leakage current at each measuring point, and collectively measures the leakage current at each measuring point using the plurality of small electrodes 16. |
