PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply apparatus with a simple structure, which can operate with respect to a wide input voltage range from a secondary battery by one apparatus.SOLUTION: The switching power supply apparatus comprises: a switching circuit 2 having an input terminal connected to a secondary battery 1 constituting a battery pack; a smoothing circuit 3 having an input terminal connected to an output terminal of the switching circuit; a comparator 5 having one input terminal connected to an output terminal of the smoothing circuit; a reference voltage source 6 connected to the other input terminal of the comparator; and a first capacitor 7 connected in series between a control terminal of the switching circuit and the output terminal of the comparator. The operation of the switching circuit is controlled based on an output of the comparator inputted through the first capacitor to the control terminal, and the output of the smoothing circuit is supplied as output to the outside. |
