<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable warp knitted fabric prevented from causing a so-called span slip in which an elastic yarn slips out of a warp knitted structure, and hardly causing fabric distortion and fraying.SOLUTION: In a stretchable warp knitted fabric in which stretchability is imparted to the whole knitted fabric by inserting an elastic yarn 20 into a base structure formed by using a non-elastic yarn 10, the non-elastic yarn forms loops in all courses, and the elastic yarn forms loops together with the non-elastic yarn in one or more courses. Since the elastic yarn forms the loops together with the non-elastic yarn forming the base structure in one or more courses, even if the fabric repeats stretching and shrinking, the elastic yarn in the fabric is not displaced from an initial position, thereby enabling the prevention of a span slip. As a result, the fabric can be prevented from causing distortion and fraying at an edge part (near a cut line) of the fabric.</p> |
