The present invention relates to a display device, a voice acquisition device, and a voice recognition method thereof. The display device includes: a display unit for displaying an image; a communication unit for performing communication with a plurality of external devices; a voice recognition engine for recognizing voice spoken by a user; and a control unit for receiving a voice signal from the voice acquisition unit and controlling the communication unit to receive command candidates for recognizing the received voice signal from at least one among the external devices. By doing so, it is possible to enable better use of various kinds of voice acquisition equipment, provide linked-services using the equipment, enable dynamic registration/deletion of command candidates for voice recognition, react to processing speed delay or recognition rate decline in a flexible manner, and accordingly improve efficiency of the entire voice recognition system.
