A method for removing a passive element inter-modulation signal by using a phase synchronous signal and an apparatus thereof are provided to prevent the phase difference from being generated between transmission signals which are inputted to the real passive element, due to the length of a cable and the other external factors. An apparatus(100) for removing a passive element inter-modulation signal by using a phase synchronous signal comprises an amplifier(110), a passive element(140), a filter unit(120), a duplexer(130) and a passive element inter-modulation signal removing unit(150). The amplifier receives and amplifies a multi-transmission signal corresponding to two or more use frequency components from a plurality of mobile communication networks. The passive element receives and transmits a received signal corresponding to an adjacent frequency component of the use frequencies. The passive element inter-modulation signal removing unit generates a virtual inter-modulation signal for a multi-coupling transmission signal, and extracts the correlation between the virtual inter-modulation signal and received signal to extract the reverse phase signal of the real passive element inter-modulation signal included in the received signal. |
