PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved transmission device that makes it possible to improve recovery performance from a synchronization shift while suppressing use of network bandwidth when the synchronization shift occurs in transmission systems where low latency is required.SOLUTION: A transmission device includes a video signal transmission unit for transmitting video signals to other devices, a time information receiving unit for receiving time information, from the other devices, which includes the time until the display start timing of each frame of the video signal from reception of the video signal in the other devices, and a redundancy determination unit for determining redundancy with respect to the video signals transmitted from the video signal transmission unit on the basis of the time information received by the time information receiving unit. |
