The present invention relates to a device for determining the psychological state of a user in a terminal. The device includes a data collection unit which collects sensor data generated when a user inputs a text on the terminal; a data processing unit which extracts feature data including either of text input habit information and situation information or both from the sensing data; and a psychological state determination unit which applies the feature data to a pre-built inference model to determine the psychological state of the user.
