<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which has stable load torque by suppressing a developer from coming around to both end parts of a supply roller, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A developing device comprises: a developing housing having an aperture counter to a photoreceptor having an electrostatic latent image formed thereon, and accommodating a developer; a developing roller provided opposite to the aperture of the developing housing and conveying the developer to the photoreceptor; a developer supply member supplying the developer to the developing roller; and a protruding member protruding from a side wall of the developing housing in the shaft direction of the developer supply member and covering at least a part of an outer periphery outside an image forming area of the developer supply member. The protruding member is in close contact with the side wall of the developing housing.</p> |
