PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal device 100 by which display qualities can be improved, and to provide the liquid crystal device 100 and electronic equipment.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal device includes a pixel electrode disposed in each of a plurality of pixels, a TFT disposed corresponding to each of the plurality of pixels, a second flattening film 12b disposed between the pixel electrode and the TFT, and a layered insulating film 12d disposed on an opposite side to the TFT element of the pixel electrode and disposed to cover at least a space between adjoining pixel electrodes. The layered insulating film 12d has a lower moisture permeability than that of the second flattening film 12b; and the second flattening film 12b has a higher moisture absorptivity than that of the layered insulating film 12d. |
