PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to generate various events necessary for screen operation simply by blowing breath.SOLUTION: An input device includes position detection means 102 to 105 for detecting positions where a user blows a breath to display means 101 with a touch panel 100; and event generating means 106 for generating predetermined operation events when the position detection means 102 to 105 detect the positions blown with a breath. A user only needs to blow a breath to the touch panel 100 to generate various operation events, and therefore, operability of the touch panel 100 can be improved when the user cannot use both hands or wears gloves on their hands.
