<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor blade for cleaning a roll capable of surely wiping off stains difficult to remove on the surface of the roll without generating sparks by friction.SOLUTION: The doctor blade 1 for cleaning a roll has a polishing pad 3 attached on a tip end edge part so as to conceal the tip end edge part 2a of a rectangular blade main body plate 2. The polishing pad 3 is a nonwoven fabric-structured pad composed of a synthetic resin fiber coated with polishing abrasive grains and fixed by an adhesive. The stains on a surface R1 are wiped off by pushing the polishing pad 3 on the surface R1 of the rotating roll R.</p> |
