The present invention relates to a battery pack and a method for increasing its battery use capacity. The battery pack is equipped with a heating coil and a heat transfer member. The heating coil is electrically connected with terminals of battery cells, and generates heat by being supplied with the power, corresponding to the temperature of the surrounding where the battery pack is installed. The heat transfer member is equipped in the upper part of the terminals, and delivers the heat generated by the heating coil to the entire pack. Hence, the battery pack of the present invention delivers the heat to the inside of the battery cells through the multiple terminals while delivering the heat to the entire battery pack through the heat transfer member, which controls the temperature of the battery pack. According to the present invention, the battery use capacity can be increased regardless of temperature change by controlling the heating coil corresponding to the temperature change of the installation circumstance. |
