The present invention relates to a brush holder assembly for a start motor which includes an insulation plate which is formed on the inner side of a rear bracket and radially fixes a brush holder along the edge thereof, a brush which is inserted into the brush holder, comes into contact with a commutator by external force, and is connected to a brush wire, and a stopper which is formed in the brush holder and prevents the brush wire from coming into contact with the commutator. The present invention prevents a short due to contact between the wire and the commutator by preventing the commutator from coming into contact with the wire connected to the brush unlike the existing technology. |
