PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a meeting system capable of configuring and changing a proper relation between an image display device or an imaging device and a table more easily, more appropriately, and more flexibly.SOLUTION: A meeting system is configured by combining a supporting body supporting a display 1 that is an image display device, and a table 3 arranged at an adjacent position to the supporting body. A shelf 4 that serves as positioning means performing relative positioning when placing both the supporting body and the table 3 opposite to each other, is provided between the supporting body and the table 3. In the case that an area in a predetermined range along a usage edge 31 of the table 3 and ranging from the usage edge 31 to a position separated by a predetermined distance toward a periphery is defined as a seating area where a plurality of persons can seat, a relative position between the supporting body and the table 3 by the shelf 4 that serves as the positioning means is set so that this seating area is in a proper image receiving angle depending on the characteristics (mainly, a type) of the display 1, and so that this seating area is in a proper separation distance depending on the characteristics (mainly, a size) of the display 1. |
