PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll press machine which reduces a useless heating value in heating a roll.SOLUTION: A roll press machine 10 presses an electrode 50 to be used for a power storage device. The roll press machine 10 comprises a roll 12 and a heater 14. The roll 12 includes a roll body 12a, a metal layer 12c provided on a circumferential surface 12as of the roll body 12a, and a heat insulation layer 12b disposed between the roll body 12a and the metal layer 12c.
