PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of switching elements used for a power converter in a rotary machine driving system for driving a rotary machine having sets of three-phase coils of plural systems.SOLUTION: A rotary machine driving system 121 comprises: a motor 80 having three-phase coil sets 801, 802 of two systems; inverters 601, 602 of two systems; a battery 55; and a capacitor 56. The three-phase coil sets 801, 802 are wound in such a manner that counter electromotive voltages with opposite positive and negative polarities are generated for coils of the respective phases. In U-phase coils 811, 821 and V-phase coils 812, 822 of two systems, each one end is connected to output ends of four legs of the inverters 601, 602. One end of a W-phase coil 813 of two system is connected to one end of a W-phase coil 823, and the coils 813, 823 are connected to the battery 55. One end of the capacitor 56 is connected to an upper bus bar Lp, and the other end of the capacitor 56 is connected to a lower bus bar Lg and a negative electrode of the battery 55. Thereby, a three-phase alternating-current voltage is generated by four legs. |
