PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing a glass molding which can secure transferability and releasability in producing a glass molding having a 3D shape including a main plate part and a side plate part and prevent occurrence of cracks during molding.SOLUTION: A method of producing a glass molding comprises a step of supplying a molten glass material 10E to a lower mold 61, a step of charging the glass material 10E into a cavity by causing the lower mold 61, an inner upper mold 62 and an outer upper mold 63 to approach mutually, a step of separating the inner upper mold 62 from the pressurized glass material 10E in the cavity after charging of the glass material 10E, a step of separating the outer upper mold 63 from the pressurized glass material 10E in the cavity after separation of the inner upper mold 62 and a step of separating a pressure molding 10F after separation of the outer upper mold 63. |
