<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a spike to be held at a first position projecting out the spike from a housing front surface in parallel with a guide bar, and a second position in a non-projecting out state, by switching, to eliminate a work for removing the spike from the housing.SOLUTION: A chain saw has a housing 1 to which a guide bar 2 is attached; and a spike 3 close to a base of the guide bar 2 on a front side of the housing. The spike 3 can be held at a first position projecting out from a housing front surface 1a in parallel with the guide bar 2, and a second position in a non-projecting out state, by being switched with a switching mechanism. The switching mechanism is composed of a hinge portion 21 provided at the spike 3, and a stepped screw 22 for rockably attaching the hinge portion 21 to the housing 1.</p> |
