PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component loading device capable of carrying on an operation to produce printed circuit boards by supplying electronic components from another alternative automatic loading unit if it is confirmed that an automatic loading unit runs short of components.SOLUTION: An electronic component loading device includes a control device 70 which outputs a drive command for a motor so as to send a storage tape following a storage tape CX when an automatic loading unit 5 supplies no electronic component from a storage tape CX and a shortage of components occurs, and also outputs a drive command for a tape feeding motor 17 installed in an automatic loading unit capable of replacing the automatic loading unit where the shortage of components occurs.
