PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a percussion instrument that permits effective utilization of spaces around the feet of its performer and can contribute to stability during performance.SOLUTION: A stand 20 supporting various pads of a snare drum 31, a first tom-tom 32 and the like is formed in a V shape having a central pole 21 standing on the side of the performer as its apex. In this way, spaces are provided on both sides of the central pole 21, and the spaces can be effectively utilized. The snare drum 31 which is usually hit frequently is linked to the central pole 21. As a result, the force that accompanies hitting of the snare drum 31 can be absorbed by the central pole 21. Therefore, inclination of the stand 20 toward the performer owing to hitting of the snare drum 31 can be restrained to enhance the stability of the stand 20. |
