<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision safety mechanism of a moving body that is light-weight, used many times, and low in maintenance cost in an economic era.SOLUTION: A bag having a limited number of openings has a continuous foam therein, which forms a part of a moving body surface as a collision surface. A the time of collision, when the bag is reduced in volume by the collision of a collision body with a bag shock absorber, gas in the continuous foam in the bag absorbs shocks by flow resistance during the movement of a cell in the continuous foam and flow resistance during flowing-out of gas discharged as a whole at once from an outlet. The discharged gas is released into atmosphere or rapidly supplied into the connected air bag, the shocks are absorbed outside, and the air bag is simultaneously developed inside, on a front glass outer surface, or on a hood upper part, thus enabling reduction of shocks to an object such as an occupant or a colliding person. Conversely, by installing the bag on a static object, the collision shocks of the moving body are reduced.</p> |
