The present invention relates to a noise reduction type tongue of a vehicle seat belt and a manufacturing method thereof. The tongue for fixing webbing to a buckle comprises a tongue plate part which fixes the tongue by being coupled to the buckle; a first tongue mold part which is coupled to one side of the tongue plate part and through which the webbing passes through; and a second tongue mold part which reduces noise by being coupled to the outer side of the first tongue mold part and absorbing impact. The noise reduction type tongue has a soft material for the outer side of the tongue mold part compared to an existing tongue mold part using a single material. Therefore, the abrasion and noise can be reduced as the soft material absorbs the impact generated when a trim of a center pillar and the tongue collide. |
