PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cancel sneak of retransmission waves with high accuracy and easily when restarting retransmission of broadcast waves after the end of interruption broadcasting, regarding a rebroadcast support device for supporting operation of either a rebroadcast device which performs rebroadcast of broadcast waves and transmission of interruption broadcasting waves in place of the broadcast waves or a sneak canceler for suppressing sneak of rebroadcast waves to the rebroadcast device.SOLUTION: A rebroadcast support system is provided for supporting operation of either a rebroadcast device which performs rebroadcast of broadcast waves and transmission of interruption broadcasting waves in place of the broadcast waves or a sneak canceler which suppresses sneak to the rebroadcast device in response to the rebroadcast. The rebroadcast support system comprises control means for holding start of rebroadcast of the broadcast waves for the time required for a transient response of filtering for suppressing the sneaking or longer from a time point in which the transmission of the interruption broadcasting waves is finished.
