PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip member capable of being easily assembled to an optical fiver holding member and an optical coupling member connected to each other to maintain an excellent connection state between the optical fiver holding member and the optical coupling member, and to provide an optical module including the clip member.SOLUTION: A clip member 60 for connecting a connector member and a lens array member, includes: a top plate 61 having an opening 66; first legs 63b protruded from a first end 62 of the top plate 61 to a first surface 61a side of the top plate 61; and second legs 65 protruded from a second end 64 of the top plate 61 opposite to the first end 62 to the first surface 61a side. In a state where the clip member 60 connects the connector member and the lens array member to each other by holding them between the first legs 63 and the second legs 65, the top plate 61 covers the connector member and the lens array member while being in a substantially flat shape. |
