PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suppressing the occurrence of a siphon phenomenon upon stopping a fuel pump, and further suppressing degradation in efficiency of the fuel pump.SOLUTION: A fuel supply apparatus 10 is disclosed, which includes a fuel tank 12, a reserve cup 14, a fuel pump 20, a jet pump 60, a fuel supply passage 50, an air introduction passage, and an air hole sealing valve 70. The jet pump 60 is driven by a fuel discharged from the fuel pump 20, sucks the fuel in the fuel tank and discharges the same into the reserve cup. The fuel supply passage 50 connects the fuel pump 20 and the jet pump 60, and supplies a part of the fuel discharged from the fuel pump 20 to the jet pump 60. The air introduction passage is communicated with the fuel supply passage 50, and provided with an air hole to take the air outside of the fuel pump. The air hole sealing valve 70 closes the air hole upon driving the fuel pump 20, and opens the air hole upon stopping the fuel pump 20. |
