PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage type cold press that is small and efficient.SOLUTION: A multistage type cold press includes a base mount 1 holding an actuating mechanism 8 for lifting a movable pressing board at the lower part of a press body, and locks an actuation end of the actuating mechanism 8 to the movable pressing board 4C of the lowest stage disposed at the facing interval between the base mount 1 and a fixed pressing board 2 positioned upward of the base mount 1. The multistage type cold press is further characterized by: properly disposing displaceable engaging members 6a/6b having engagement parts 6e engageable with fixing stoppers 5a/5b attached in the vicinity of corners of two opposed end surfaces of upper movable pressing boards 4A and 4B, respectively; attaching actuating members 7a/7b for displacing the respective engaging members 6a/6b in respective engaging members 6a/6b so that the engagement parts 6e of respective engaging members 6a/6b swing from the position not engageable with the respective fixing stoppers 5a/5b to the position engageable therewith; and including a control mechanism for controlling the actuation of desired actuating members 7a/7b associated with the operation of the actuating mechanism 8. |
