PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casting device that can shorten manufacturing cycle by interposition of an opening and closing mechanism compared with a conventional low-pressure casting method to increase productivity and constantly slide the opening and closing body normally so as to increase production efficiency thereof.SOLUTION: On a holding furnace is arranged a mold, and between the holding furnace and the mold is provided an opening and closing mechanism. The opening and closing mechanism is composed of an opening and closing body and a holder. On at least one face of vertical inner faces of the holder in a downstream side position in an operation direction from a blocking and pressurizing position of the opening and closing body, which is a location that inhibits the meltage at two positions of the opening and closing body, is formed a recessed portion.
