<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for internal combustion engine that can precisely detect an EGR rate (EGR amount) while taking fluctuation in a flow rate of a blown back-flow between cycles into consideration.SOLUTION: An EGR equivalent value equivalent to an EGR rate or EGR amount corresponding to operation conditions is acquired. A control device for internal combustion engine includes an ignition device which generates a discharge between electrodes of an ignition plug provided in a cylinder. The discharge is generated by the ignition device in a valve overlap period under the operation conditions, and an electric signal equivalent to a voltage value or current value at which the discharge is generated is acquired. The EGR equivalent value is corrected based upon the electric signal.</p> |
