摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA aptamer with improved specificity, which recognizes an advanced glycation end product (AGE) derived from glyceraldehyde which has the highest cytotoxicity of various AGEs.SOLUTION: The DNA aptamer, which recognizes and binds to an advanced glycation end product (AGE) derived from glyceraldehyde, comprises at least 35 bases. In the DNA aptamer, part of nucleotide binding is phosphorothioated. It is preferable that all nucleotide bindings at a 5' side of adenine and at a 5' side of thymine are phosphorothioated. It is more preferable that a dissociation constant of the AGE measured by a surface plasmon resonance method is 1×10M or less.
