PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft seal gate valve with a seal material fixing structure capable of obtaining a reliable sealing property.SOLUTION: A valve body 15 of a soft seal gate valve is formed by: a metallic valve body 21 and a female screw member 22; and a rubber sealing material 23 mounted to cover the valve body 21. In the sealing material, a lower seal part 23a mounted to a lower half of the valve body and contacting a lower valve seat, and a pair of upper seal parts 23b, 23b mounted on both side faces of an upper half of the valve body and respectively contacting an upper valve seat are integrally formed. After the valve body is inserted between the pair of upper seal parts. After irregularity-engagement with the valve body utilizing elasticity of the seal material, a female screw member is mounted from an upper part of the valve body and fixed with a detachment-prevention pin, so as to hold the seal material with the valve body and the female screw member. |
