The present invention relates to a fire extinguishing apparatus with a water mist nozzle, which is coupled to a supply line to which fire water or a liquid fire extinguisher is supplied, and which sprays the fire water or liquid fire extinguisher of the supply line to put out a fire. The fire extinguishing apparatus comprises: a housing which is coupled to the supply line to be able to communicate with the supply line and includes a supply hole for receiving and moving fire water or a liquid fire extinguisher and a discharge hole for discharging the supplied fire water or liquid fire extinguisher; a valve member which closes or opens the supply hole of the housing or an end part of the supply line; and a sprinkler head which closes the supply hole or the end part of the supply line by pressurizing the valve member and allows the valve member to open while operating by heat at the outbreak of a fire. According to the present invention, it is possible to simplify the configuration through a mechanical mechanism such as the valve member for closing the supply hole of the housing or the supply line is opened by the sprinkler head. Especially, the shrinkage or relaxation of a shrinkage pipe of the valve member permits a piston to move, whereby the piston can safely and securely control the fire water or liquid fire extinguisher. |
