PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a new structure for footboard applied to an open type staircase.SOLUTION: A footboard 2 used in a staircase in which at least one end of each of the footboards 2 is exposed is provided with a resin nosing member in a notch 12 formed in a nosing part 11 of a base material 10 of the footboard 2, and the nosing member is comprised of a base member 20 and a cover member 30. Thus, the footboard 2 provided with the resin nosing member in the nosing part 11 can be configured. Moreover, decorative sheet materials 14a, 14b are attached onto the base material 10 and a joint 14 between the decorative sheet materials 14a, 14b is arranged in the notch 12. Accordingly, the joint 14 between the decorative sheet materials 14a, 14b can be hidden by the nosing member and design can be secured. |
