PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device in which a protrusion amount from a ceiling face is small so as to hardly deteriorate an appearance in a room while the illuminating device is mounted to a ceiling.SOLUTION: An illuminating device comprises at least one light emitting element, a light guide plate, and a housing for accommodating them, and is mounted using an embedding hole formed on the ceiling. A crown-shaped part embedded in the embedding hole while the housing is mounted to the ceiling is provided at one part of a face plate on a side of the housing opposite to the ceiling face. The light emitting element is arranged in an interior space of the crown-shaped part, and the light guide plate is arranged on at least one part of a remaining part of the housing while covering the light emitting element. |
