PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio apparatus to simplify settings for transmitting through a linear amplifier and to allow operation of the linear amplifier in an ideal state.SOLUTION: The radio apparatus comprises: transmission output variable means that is capable of varying transmission output; linear amplifier setting means that can set whether to transmit by using or without using power amplifiers from within a linear amplifier; and maximum value limit controlling means that restricts the transmission output to a preset maximum value or below from each of many frequency bands of the maximum value of the transmission output variable means when the linear amplifier setting means sets to transmit by using the power amplifier, and that makes the transmission output be a preset value according to the transmission output variable means when it sets to transmit without using a power amplifier. |
