PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission which prevents a large difference between traction coefficients of traction parts every respective power rollers 7, 7 from being produced and, thereby, permits high transmission efficiency.SOLUTION: A gear reaction force is applied to an arrow mark α direction based on meshing between an output gear 4a disposed on the outer peripheral part of an output disk 5a and other gears. While considering that the output disk 5a is displaced in the radial direction based on the gear reaction force, in a non-transmission state of a torque, specifications of traction parts that are rolling contact parts between circumferential surfaces of the respective power rollers 7, 7 and lateral surfaces of respective disks 2a, 2b, 5a are differentiated. Therein, upon torque transmission, the differences of traction coefficients of the respective traction parts are reduced or eliminated. |
