PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw-tightening device that facilitates control of thrust of an extremely low bit and is compact.SOLUTION: The screw-tightening device 1 comprises: a driver tool 4 having a bit 42 engageable in a head of a screw configured to be rotated and driven; a movement position control mechanism 2 comprising a moving portion 2a that supports the driver tool 4 reciprocatably; and a control unit 5 comprising a control portion 51 that controls and directs respectively the driver tool 4 and the movement position control mechanism 2. The control unit 5 memorizes respectively thrust in a retreat direction of the bit 42 advancing in the opposite direction of a direction of tightening the screw by respective own weights of the driver tool 4 and the moving portion 2a and ideal thrust to be imparted to the bit 42 during screw tightening. Further, the control portion 51 adds an absolute value of the ideal thrust and the thrust in a retreat direction and controls based on the calculated thrust by the addition driving of the moving portion 2a. |
