PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge measurement tool including an automatic parameter setting choice and an interface.SOLUTION: A user interface is provided for setting a parameter of an edge position specifying video tool. According to an embodiment, the user interface includes multi-dimensional parameter space representation for adjusting a single parameter combination indicator in a zone to detect a corresponding edge. The edge zone indicates a detectable edge element when the parameter combination indicator is disposed in the edge zone. According to another embodiment, representation of a plurality of edge elements detectable by a different combination of edge detection parameters is automatically provided to one or a plurality of windows. When a user selects one edge element representation, the corresponding combination of edge detection parameters is set as an edge position specifying video tool parameter. |
